• Over the past decade (2009-2019) the network of experts on Islam and Ibadism has been strengthened.

• New Editions of Ibadi sources and further scholarly publications have emerged.

• Interdisciplinary networks for the Study of Islam, Ibadism and Oman have been established, whilst Universities all over the world have hosted Ibadi Conferences.

• Summer Schools for new scholars, MA and PhD students have been created since 2017.

A conference marking the 10th Anniversary of Ibadi Studies hosted on June 17-19, 2019 by the University of Toronto, Institute of Islamic Studies and focused on the Interdisciplinary approach to Ibadi studies.
